Stock up on paper pads for your Top loading A5 Folio.
These classy folio pads are covered with a deep blue heavy stock with the "mind like water" silver logo on the front of each cover. These pads have David Allen's favorite grid design. The lines are printed lightly enough so you don’t pay attention to the grids, if you don’t care to. The layout of the boxes on the left is perfect for a variety of common note functions. You can fill in the bullet headings in the left column and use as many lines as you like on the right side of the pad.
Pads are better then notebooks for random note-taking, because the notes themselves are then torn off and processed for actions and projects. Be consistent about using and then processing you pad folio notes, it is the best way to keep things out of your head.
